Need help buying a gaming laptop.

I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop, but I don't have much of an idea where to start looking as far as brands and spec. Any ideas? Is the graphics card the most important feature for gaming? Which graphics card should I look for? Sorry if this question seems vague, but I just don't have much of an idea when it comes to what specs, graphics card, etc I should get for a gaming laptop.

Edit: This is the first laptop that caught my eye at Microcenter.

5400 HDD hurts imo, an SSD would be great in it's place.

Your average desktop HDD has an RPM of 7200, meaning it can access data at a faster rate than one that only spins at 5400 RPM. I think the higher end HDDs have RPM's of like 10K+. SSD's have no moving parts and can access data at a much faster rate, which is good obv, and they are much less likely to fail.

Although I'm not to experienced with laptops, I know I would never consider a 5400 HDD for a desktop, especially with the purpose of gaming.

Use the Hierarchy Chart. A 6850 is considered good.
