Monitor Screen Resolution...

Hi...
I've been using a 22" monitor, 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60p Hz. Which, been running absolutely perfect. No lag issues, at all (thankfully got rid of them).
Now, I decided to purchase a 27" monitor but unfortunately it's giving a very slight lag, sliding the lobby around (BetOnline Poker). On the 27" monitor I'm running 2560 x 1440 at 55p Hz.
Is there a resolution I need to set the 27", in order to have it as smooth as the 22"? Dual setup, btw.
