Was looking to buy a monitor to plug into my laptop which would display 4 default size pokerstars tables. Is a 1920 * 1080 enough to be able to to this or do I need one that has a 1900 * 1200 resolution? Any advice on monitors that would fit the bill?
Also if a monitor doesn't have a hdmi input does that mean I wouldn't be able to watch a hd quality movie that is playing on my laptops blueray player on the monitor?
Its a samsung rf710. Intel core i5 2.53mhz, 4GB ram, 1600 * 900 screen, blueray player, 640 gb hard drive. Hdmi port, 2 usb 3 ports, 2 usb 2 ports and a monitor port.
You can get a good 24" monitor at around $200, like the Samsung syncmaster (just google it). But if you just want to see 4 tables, perhaps a 24" monitor is too much, but def worth the price. I would go for that 24" monitor, it has a decent size a good resolution just in case you wish to add more tables in the future...
