Re: i guess this is more of a hardware question

An Intel Core i5 and 4-8 GB of RAM should be enough, 8gb is NOT necessary.
Also depending on the video card and harddisk its gonna be in the 650$-900$ range for a decent laptop.

Stop listening to that person.

I do similar with an old core 2 duo, so any modern intel i3 or better, or decent amd will do the job easily.

Re: i guess this is more of a hardware question

k guys im looking on the frys website, im on this page http://www.frys.com/search?to=24&cat..._i5-100317%203

which is for all with an i5 and 6gb...... are these good deals? decent lap tops?

to me the best one looks like the HP that is $599 after rebate, it has a 15.6 inch screen and 750gb ram which seems to be more than the rest of comparable price

although this lenovo one that is the cheapest has all the same with a bigger screen.... but ive never heard of the company

the dell for 550 looks alright but its only a 14 inch screen (not good for multitabling)

is there anything wrong with any of these or any reason i shouldnt get them?

would a dell with 4gb memory and an i5 be ok? cuz you can get those for $400, would that be better than a lenovo with 6gb memory and an i5 for $500?

Lenovo bought IBM's PC business in 2005 and is the world's second largest PC maker behind HP.

Re: i guess this is more of a hardware question

any thoughts on toshiba? i dont know much about them, a friend has one and he says its been really good and reliable, and the one i would be getting is much nicer (love the fact it has a 17 inch screen)

is this enough for holdem manager? AMD quad core A6-3400M APU processor, 17.3 inch screen 6gb ram and 640gb hard drive
