So when I open UB it keeps closing on me for no apparent reason. I've had some trouble getting the app to launch lately (2-3 attempts before success) but now I cant get past "establishing ssl connection" without the program shutting itself down.

Anyone know if you can log in through Absolute? Or how I could force the app open, or have any advice for me whatsoever??

Any help would be appreciated

thats funny alot of people on this forum have had trouble closing ultimate bet for a few years now

I don't WANT to play there, I just happen to have a small bankroll on there.. I agree Its stupid to support them, and I plan on abandoning them when it's suitable for me .. I would never deposit there or recommend cereus to anybody after the latest security issue... I naively assumed they'd be one of the safest poker sites after the last cheating scandal. You'd think they'd have the best security in the industry to make up for it?.... I now realize they just don't give a **** and will gladly never play there again.. when it's convenient for me.

Their customer service has replied to my e-mails with advice(Make sure your computers time is correct, reinstall, etc.) but none has worked as of yet... still can't get in

Are you running an application like PeerBlock to filter torrent traffic? Cereus is blocked by this software unless you specifically allow the connection or shut the program down.

Are you running a 32-bit or 64-bit OS, because I know their software has difficulty running on 64-bit operating systems? Other than that, I have no clue as I don't run Cereus/UB/Absolute.

if you are running vista or windows 7 try running UB in adminstrator mode , ie start-programs-ub (Rightclick run as administrator) see if that helps
