4k 42.5 inches monitor - will I see the hud numbers?

Hi,

I'm interested in buying a nice big monitor with 4k resolution and I'm wondered whether I'm going to be able to use max resolution, someone told me that hud numbers could be too small.

What's your current monitor size and resolution? The physical size should be comparable to a 21" running 1080p

Assuming your using PT4, you could just make the font size in the HUD bigger - so that you can read it on the bigger screen.

Thanks guys, I think I'll go for it then. And have any of you actually tried using 40+ inches monitor for playing poker? Isn't it too huge?

If you want to use TV as computer monitor, take a look to see if chroma spec is 4:4:4 or 4:2:2 or less. I have two TV's, one is 4:4:4 and the other is 4:2:2 There is not much difference in graphic images but character sets suffers with 4:2:2, it is more fuzzy.

Most low/mid range price 4k TV's are 4:2:2. Most hi end TV are 4:4:4
Vizio M series are 4:2:2
Vizio P series and Samsung KS series are 4:4:4

i use an lg 43" 4k. works perfect. as others stated make sure its capable of 4:4:4 chroma for absolute clarity. otherwise certain text will look blurry. you will also need to have a gfx card or laptop with hdmi 2.0 out or use an active displayport to hmdi.20 converter

Thanks for responses guys. When it comes to this chroma thing, I googled the model of the monitor + the word chroma and there's no results. Can you help me with that? It's this monitor: http://transparent-uk.com/philips-br...r-monitor.html . I hope the link is not a problem, I don't work for this store or anything.

And it is a monitor, not a tv, so should I be worried about this 4:4:4 thing or does it only concern tvs?

If it is a computer monitor, it should be 4:4:4

I dislike them using BGR instead of RGB pixel as per this review
