Re: hem on mac help

What are the specs on the MB? You have two basic options: bootcamp or a VM like Parallels or VM Fusion.

Re: hem on mac help

with 2gb of ram your only choice is boot camp unless you want to buy more RAM.

sounds like a problem to me.

as already suggested. Install bootcamp and run Windows for HEM

Re: hem on mac help

now that i read up on it i think i want to install the os instead of using vm...

the reason i need windows is for a rush hud which can't be done on mac OS with pt3 so i doubt it could be done if hem was running within mac os...

i thought parallels was a installation like bootcamp and not a vm

i am assuming vm means virtual machine but not sure...

Re: hem on mac help

Correct, VM is a virtual machine, both Parallels and Fusion are virtual machines you install on top of OS X and run Window's machines at the same time.

Re: hem on mac help

you seem reluctant to use bootcamp. Why?

It's free and works perfectly.

Re: hem on mac help

I tried HEM on Fusion and it couldn't handle it and i have 2GB RAM on my imac. I tried to install boot camp but I have a problem trying to partition a boot camp. It says "The disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved." Can some one help me on this? Thanks!
