Have you been pwned? Have you been pwned?

This website will tell you if any of the e-mail addresses that you own has been involved in any data breach hack.

This is not a joke website, as I have validated myself that the data is legit. I own various e-mail addresses, some of which are used exclusively for a particular financial service (anyone hacking my personal e-mail address will have no access to anything whatsoever that contains financial info or funds).

The e-mail address I used exclusively for Neteller is identified as being breached by a Neteller hack.
The e-mail address I used exclusively for Moneybookers/Skrill is identified as being breached by a Moneybookers hack.
One of my e-mails has been compromised by Dropbox, Majorgeeks and Linkedin hacks.

Fortunately I never repeat passwords (keepass ftw), so I am not too concerned with these breaches. How about you?

(Gabethebabe, btw. I forgot I was posting on this gimmick)

Haven't used Trillian in ages. Skype has kinda taken over the messenger domain imo.

Old news (very!) but a useful reminder all the same. Too many people have no idea that their information has been compromised.

It's good to put up since there was like three hundred million email accounts hacked recently.

It's a good site. I've found actual pastes containing passwords to be quite rare though :/

It can be a useful site, given that the company hacked shares its info with Haveibeenpwned, which is not always the case, like in both yahoo hacks, for example. Too many people are misinformed about the limits of this site, and biblically refer to it, which is obviously a mistake.
