I installed Google WiFi (3 pack) yesterday after reading many reviews saying it covered a large range and increased internet speeds. I was very skeptical. Setup took about 10 minutes for all 3 nodes. I pay for 75mbps/75mpbs and was getting about 25/25 from my wireless devices. After installing Google WiFi I now get ~85/85. Yes, I'm getting more than I pay for. My wireless devices are as fast as wired devices. I'm shocked.

Google WiFi is amazing in terms of coverage and speed. From what I've read it seems to be lacking in terms of advanced settings like a native VPN, etc, but for a regular user like me it's downright amazing. If you are looking to increase your internet speeds using wireless, I highly recommend giving Google WiFi a shot, I couldn't be happier.

That is from my phone!

Smallish house, maybe 1800 sq feet. Three levels, though, and plaster walls, not an "open concept". Essentially we have walls and floors everywhere, so it creates connectivity issues.

The 3 nodes work really well and seem to penetrate through each floor very effectively.

So now that I'm so happy with the coverage of my WiFi in my home, I bought Google Home and 3 Google Chromecast Audios. (I swear, I'm not a seller of Google products.)

Google Home is really not that great, but it is a pretty decent speaker and it is a good voice-command assistant. That being said, you can skip the Google Home if you don't need an extra speaker.

Google Chromecast Audio is downright amazing. They are 35 dollars each and connect to speakers and enable you to bring music to as many rooms in your house as you want (as long as you have speakers for each room).

I bought 3 of them. I connected them to three devices, all on the lower level of my house (kitchen, dining room, living room). First one to a Bose bluetooth speaker (Soundlink color II), second one to an old set of computer speakers (Harman Kardon SoundSticks), and one to my Yamaha receiver in my living room, which are connected to a 5.1 Onkyo Home Theater in a Box setup. The first two devices were simply plugged in to the Auxillary jack in each speaker setup. The Yamaha receiver needed a 3.5mm plug to RCA cable, which I bought at Target.

I linked all three devices to a my Google home group and started casting music from Pandora/Google Music/Spotify. HOLY ****ING ****. It sounds so good, across all speakers, in every room on my ground floor. I am absolutely amazed at how well it works, how easy it is to set up, and how good it sounds. I can now walk from the kitchen to the dining room to the living room and have sync'ed music through each for the price of three Google Chromecast Audios ($105 dollars).

I can't recommend this enough. It really is fabulous for very little money. It makes your old speakers that were sitting around worthwhile again and creates a multi-room audio environment. Other set ups (Sonos) can cost thousands of dollars, this option is downright miraculous. I'm amazed.
