I'm looking at the specs of this laptop but I can't find the info on whether it supports it. Judging by the other specs do you think its likely to support it?

With only 10/100 ethernet, integrated graphics, a 15" screen that isn't 1080p, and an i3 processor I doubt they supplemented the lack of Sata3 in the HM55 chipset with a separate controller.

So no, very little chance it support sata 3.
