It will run that, no issues. But you'll have to bootcamp windows...Honestly, it'd just be better to get a better laptop without being a mac for the same price..

Yup. (I'm a Mac fan child ) if this is just for poker, just get a cheaper windows laptop.

If it's combined for other purposes like work or school go for it.

ooops, misstyped the topic. I have a macbook pro mid 2010. But I was just wondering if it was worth reinstalling it. I guess ill give it a try! Nice to have a computer that is easy to move around when im going to my friend etc.

I had a similar one up until recently (mine was late 2009). I was able to run lots of tables + PT3 + table ninja under Parallels, so you should have no problems with a 'native' install under bootcamp.

Ok sweet! Gonna try it later tonight when its all setup. And yeah i will be running it with bootcamp to save some resources
