No real guarantee with how bad a beta can crash and mess up your system. It can also be difficult to install the production release over when it comes out.

use virtualbox or similar to test a beta OS without affecting your existing OS / data. here's an unofficial guide (i have not tried this with win8 myself)

Done!

If you're keeping score at home this is a 3 day temp ban. Don't ask for help torrenting stuff on 2+2.

This seems as if it would be a possible solution. Just have to wait and see how the start of the beta turns out and prolly judge based on reviews of those who have the same OS I have. Win7 32bit .

Re: >clickity-click< (NC thread 0.0.1a)

Does anyone know how to get a bulleted row instead of a list in the middle of a word document with out having to draw a chart and then placing text inside of the chart? Rather than a normal list that just goes down each row.

Whats the best way to edit and save a poker hand thread from these forums ? - keeping the hand history (including suits) and editing in the best comments, and readable off line. TY

I'd try the print view in Chrome with a high post per page setting.

Re: >clickity-click< (NC thread 0.0.1a)

Hey.

I want the applications I have open to be organized alphabetically on the taskbar, right now, they are chronological, which is the default setting I believe.
I am using Windows 7 32-bit, and google didn't provide much help.

If any of you know how to change this, I am all ears. As I am sceptical of this, I am wondering if one could write an AHK script to do this? Would the software forum on 2p2 be a good place to ask for this? What is a reasonable price to offer, like $25?

Here is an image to illustrate my problem:
Spoiler:

As soon as I open something, I want it to be moved(this can be done by draging but that's inconvenient for me) so everything would be in alphabetical order.

thanks,
Ive now tried various things including saving to pdf files , essentialy I want to be able to save extracts of webpages to something which I can keep on adding to, and is viewable off line . For example a document with just 3 betting hands , or with pics and text about Surfing or whatever. I havn't found anything simple to use and I end up using the Snipping tool and sticking them in files in my picture folder.

Re: >clickity-click< (NC thread 0.0.1a)

5th page, this was buried DEEP

looking for advice on monitors -- going to buy two of the same monitors, probably 23" if I can afford it, 21 or 20 if not, to run on one machine. kind of clueless about monitors though and not sure what resolutions are good for running two on one card. is resolution considered on a per screen basis for this or combined? I'm probably going aiming for 1920x1080.

likely going to go with a pair of Dell's unless I find something else on sale with as good of a priceerformance ratio. which of their models are best in terms of the least obtrusive and bulky panels so there's not a lot of space inbetween screens?

Re: >clickity-click< (NC thread 0.0.1a)

My understanding is until you get above 1080p any video card you pick up with 2 inputs should be able to handle the monitors with no problem.
