Hey, I need your help. I want something as portable, long lasting, light weight as possible. It doesn't need to be super fast as ALL I would do on it is watch basketball games through league pass. Play Bovada/ACR poker (4 tables max) with PT4 and Bovada card catcher running. And surfing the Internet on it. I currently never needed a laptop since I have a very nice desktop my brother built me but due to work and being less and less at home I have choosing to get one.

My questions now;

1. Is a 13" inch screen to small for 4 tabling Bovada with a HUD (1920x1080p res)

2. Which is a better laptop, the Asus Zenbook or the Dell XPS 13 (or 15 if 13 is to small).

3. Are there other computers I am missing?

Must haves:
-1920x1080p
-Light weight
-Long battery life
-Small as possible but 13"-15" screen
-Cheap as possible since a iPad would probably do me just fine minus poker and a mouse

Thanks!

XPS 15 is only a little bigger than the 13.3" Asus Zenbook due to bezel sizing. XPS 13 is a little smaller than Asus Zenbook.

I am sure you can find YouTube videos comparing the bezel sizes. Dell infinity edge displays are pretty impressive from what I saw in BestBuys.

So is the 15" even worth it if I'm going to try to go as small as possible? 2" doesn't sound like that much of a difference and I would be spending more for a xps 15.

I plan on stopping by a Best Buy or micro center today and just looking at the xps as its my number one choice right now. My biggest concern is the size of the screen and playing poker on it.

If anyone has a picture of 4 tables on a 13" screen it would make my decision a lot easier!!

I would get the new Samsung notebook 9

15' 1920 x 1080

up to 12 hours of battery life

under 3 lbs.

http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/pcs/NP900X5L-K02US

i used to 4 table on Bovada with a 13.3 inch laptop and it was pretty small, even after i hid the taskbar. Now i just play on my desktop.

Screenshots would look the same as it has nothing to do with the physical size of the monitor, it is only the resolution that the monitor is capable of handling (1920x1080 in this case).

Best way to find out is to actually go to a store where they have 13" monitors and see for yourself.

Edit: IMO, 13" is way too small to be 4 tabling unless you have the eyesight of a hawk.

You're right, they're all 24"

Or get a tape measure, and a brain

edit: Sry 4 trolling you but this questions comes up a lot, and it never ceases to amaze me. Just think about it for a second why they look the same, and what you can do about it.

If you get surface book or MacBook Pro, the tables will be bigger due to more vertical space. Notice in typical 1080p the tables are resized vertically and there is wasted space.

If your goal is smallest laptop, you should be looking for 14" and/or 16:10 aspect ratio (or even more squarish like 3:2 for surface book).
