Buying new poker computer, need help Buying new poker computer, need help

I'm looking at two ASUS laptops with a few key differences. Option 1 (600$) has HDD, 8gb RAM, i5 processor, whereas option 2 (900) has SDD, i7 processor, and 12gb ram. I'm wondering whether these differences would account for any noticeable differences while, for example, running 6 tables across 4 different poker sites with HEM and firefox with various windows including youtube all running simultaneously or whether option 2 is just a better computer with betterness that is completely unnecessary. I also want to know if because of computer 2's better specs whether that makes it longer lasting.

Option 1:

Option 2:

Much thanks to anyone who can help out

If it fits in budget, option 2 with the SSD will be much more performant. The SSD and extra RAM will make all around performance much better, the better CPU will also help a bit.

absolutely agree. though I'd be wary of non-NewEgg sellers and if these are new / refurbished.

Bestbuy has this for $979 15.6" 512 ssd i7 chip 12 gb ddr4 ram $125 student discount often about a $100 OPEN BOX discounts are available:

There is a similar model for $729 with an i5 cpu and 8 gb memory with 256 ssd that could work. Same student offer, open box is $655.
