different remote access techniques? different remote access techniques?

Hey guys,

I've got two pc's but I want to be able to access the same one from two different pc's, one thats upstairs and the other that is downstairs, so my db's and docs and notes and stuff all stay up to date and not split down the middle.

I've tried some of the internet-connection based programs such as Teamviewer and Logmein but they are a bit too slow to handle multitabling gameplay.

I'm sure someone's faced this issue before, anybody care to gimme some advice?

If you have your notes as part of your hem or whatever database, you should be able to run a single postgres database on one computer and connect to that, whilst running the poker client and hem on whichever computer you are using. You will probably have a file called pg_hba.conf or similar that you will need to change to allow remote connections according to the ip adresses of the computers on your network.
