Does anyone know what types of problems CFR is best suited for solving, and what kinds of problems it is not good at solving? I really couldn't find a quick answer on google, and I quickly scanned a few white papers.

I am not sure if I want to learn CFR, or convolutional neural networks first. CNN is the Google general purpose AI algorithm that's being used to win a bunch of different games. It's a machine learning algorithm with vision. Seems really cool.
