Most, if not all, Vegas hotels have wifi internet connections these days. I have at least one device (IP phone) that only has an ethernet jack. Also have a work laptop with no wifi. I tried looking for a simple solution that lets me convert a wifi signal to hardwired ethernet, but no luck. Anyone know how I could hook this up?

Nope, that's the exact opposite of what I want. That device can connect to hardwired internet and creates a wifi hotspot.

I need something that connects to wifi internet and allows hardwired devices to connect to it.

I don't have the manual in front of me, and I only use it as a range extender at home, but I'm pretty sure if you run it in bridge mode it can connect wirelessly (to the hotel wi-fi) and plug your computer into its ethernet socket.

Probably can find the manual online to confirm.

You can buy a dedicated WiFi-Ethernet Bridge product like this:

Configuration on the one I used to use was pretty minimal (connect to bridge, choose SSID, provide password). Fast vs Gb Ethernet on this model should not be a problem, unless the hotel WiFi is much better than I have used in the past.

I don't know if it's still possible but I used to enable share internet access in windows and then connect the hardwired device (aka XBox) to the laptop.
