How to adjust mouse speed separate for 2 mice/1 computer?

I got a hand held mouse that is super fast so I had to slow down pointer speed but now when I use my default mouse(both hooked up) its too slow.

I saw some paid software somewhere but isn't there a easy free way to do this or even free software?

That is the mouse. Its nice to sometimes not have to have your hand on a mouse that needs to be on the desk.

But some things are faster with the desk model, so that is why 2.

While I don't know of a way to do this with settings or software I too have two mice, one precision wired mouse and one wireless mouse for streaming from the couch. The precision one is a corsair mouse and has adjustable speed buttons on the mouse itself.

You might be able to pull this off with an adjustable DPI standard mouse. These will generally be gaming mice that work best with their own management software installed. I'm partial to the Razer Death Adder shape (can frequently be had for $30 on sale), you'll want to adjust for your own ergonomic preferences.
