Looking for a programmer (prefer Ruby, other languages could work) Looking for a programmer (prefer Ruby, other languages could work)

Hi,

I'm looking for a programmer to help me with a business project. It's a project I'm incredibly excited and passionate about, and I'm looking for someone to help me build it.

I've had success building businesses with 2p2ers in the past, most recently my website at www.balugawhale.com . That is a small WP project--this is something a lot cooler.

1) not poker related
2) looking for a partner. cash is an option, but equity is my preferred option.
3) happy to discuss it-- email me at teambalugawhale@gmail.com or PM me here (though my PM box fills quickly on here).

Let me know if interested!

Andrew

You will get a better response if you detail what skills you are bringing to the table.

An idea on its own isn't worth much.

Hi Tabako,

I've got a lot of experience with branding and running startup businesses. I have a massive network and a reasonably large following via DeucesCracked, people here on 2p2, twitter, etc. I'm good with marketing, business strategy, etc. I am also pretty good at poker.

An idea in the hands of the right people can be worth a lot.

I'm not sure where a lot of this matters considering this:

Can you expand a little more?

Also, why would you prefer Ruby?

RT knows his stuff. If you got him to work on your project, you'd be lucky imo.

And I'd probably advice him not to take equity, unless the idea is amazing. :P

It's well deserved. I hope to get to work with him on a project someday myself.

If you are looking at Ruby, he's where I'd personally start, fo sho. I've seen his work. :P
