If you say front and back, you are gay. Reason being you now have schlong in your face and rear at the same time. It also poses the problem of only 1 person actually being able to catch the weight if they fall front/back.

Then maybe you actually need 4 spotters for this move. One on all points of the compass, so 2-3 people may actually be able to do something to the bar and not kill each other. This seems like a waste of time for all involved.
I explained in my post that the squatter fends for themselves...you have a spotter on each side only focusing on the barbell. But, in the process of the spotters catching the barbell, this gives the squatter something to hold onto to avoid falling.

You people have no imagination.
