the guy in your video says he is rethinking the "out of africa" theory and how we left africa 65,000 years ago. we left Africa about half a million years ago.

New evidence comes around from time to time. He was discussing new evidence about the various waves of hominids (hominid != h. sapiens) leaving Africa and such. The lecture was pretty balanced, thoughtful and a decent look at the currently available evidence. Therefore, [x] SMP.

There is a lecture series (with about 10 episodes i think) with Neil degrasse Tyson with him standing in a classroom teaching astronomy. I cant find it on youtube anymore, can anybody here give me a link or at least the name of the series please? thanks

Yea it was called "The Universe" and is a bit older, unfortunately they deleted all videos due to copyright violations.

fwiw, Netflix has MythBusters and Modern Marvels on their instant play or w/e its called where you can watch it online. I havnt seen anything about science on hulu tho, which surprises me.
