Well, since I'm not planning on being a vascular surgeon, I guess I can condone this. But drink more.

you can get more than enough protein from non-meat products. nuts, rice and beans, even dairy products (veggie not vegan) work fine imo

As far as we can discern from that post, anyway.

Random semi-related thoughts:

Aren't altruistic beings just lucky that it's generally unacceptable to behave selfishly? I am so often applauded for such behavior when I understand I absolutely wouldn't behave this way if I didn't, well, want to.

Also, when someone does something expecting but not receiving reciprocation, (specifically in the form of appreciation) they're often vocal about not receiving it. Seems more like a poorly calculated time/effort investment.

isnt it like the gambling theory that if you dont know when you will get rewarded you get uber hooked to it, more so than if its an every time thing

Re: SMP Life is Being Drunk -Random Content thread

I get ****ed every now and then, and most often I get embarrassed about what I type the next morning, so I might as wel write some drunken ****e right here before anyone saya anything. Want my summary of poker,

50%: stupid fish
40%: regs who can't play for $hit
9%: 2p2 who can't play for $hit
1%: 2p2 who are stuck to scumbag stakes

That is that microstakes is. Believe it or not most of 2p2 are not that good, and if they know about fancy **** like 3b light or baluga **** they arent anythig special just run of the mill. Poker at the small stakes is dead and even if it were'nt, life would be ****ing lame playing these stakes trying to ameka living. It sucks and the game is uo- good luck everyone, I'll hope to come back as a maniac-4-bet-bluffer when I'm 80 year old and havent plated for 50 years. see you later guys. Poker is not hard but the majority of players have no brain to learn. But I don't expect many to learn as I will stop playing for a while, in my history I deposity $50 and cash out $800 in total so poker had done me welll, plus I make good dollar live. It's just a sick game that decieves the masses so much it's sick- dwan it so good for the game it's unbelievable, etc. people thing they can play poker postflop and don't have a clue- its sic and one well for the game- oh well Ive spiokern too mcuh GG.

Can smoke in this one after eleven and they stay open as long as you stay drinking. Also sell bootleg tobacco behind bar, dont care if do coke in toilets and let you smoke weed in garden. Quadruple brap.

Let me first acknowledge that you are obviously correct.

That said, I have a fair amount of disdain for both activities, and I think there's a unifying theme, which is that both are almost entirely pretexts for drinking. (Similarly the adoption of Cinco de Mayo as a holiday of grand importance to 20 something white people irks me.) I prefer my drinking pretext-free and my games to be more fun.
