To troll a poster that wasn't contributing much to the thread. And while the overall posting frequency is down in this forum, the signal is way up.

He was the one who chose to go with the ultimatum and he chose to leave of his own free will. He left because he demanded satisfaction and Zeno more or less shrugged him off. I think Zeno made the right decision.

While he was certainly a very intelligent person, he was a terrible poster. I don't miss his ramblings.

I miss them. Masque had his flaws, we all do. His biggest flaw was an inability to hit "Post Quick Reply". That didn't bother me too much, as nobody is forcing me to read every word on 2+2.

You can always take a trip down memory lane and re-read his old posts. There's plenty of material to work through.

Zeno, Aaron is making veiled threats now. Please take appropriate action.

You'll have to ask him yourself.

I told him what I was going to do and what I was trying to accomplish, and then I did what I said I would do. He did the same thing. I consider that to be equal footing.

PS - I miss Bruce far more than I miss Masque. Bruce was on point and on topic, even if I disagreed with him. Masque was often neither, even when I agreed with him.

You punctured his ego a little bit. Big deal.

There's a process going on trying to put this right.

That there are under churnings currently sloshing about in dark places is not too be doubted. I am standing aloof however. I have no desire to come down from the mountain lugging the ten commandments and pontificating. I only do that in the RGT forum. We will be fine and survive. All are welcome back in my book. It is best that I refrain from choosing sides unless absolutely necessary.

That some choose to move on for whatever reason(s) is to be expected. Change is a constant in the universe; and we are not exempt from this immutable law. And no forum or poster is immune to the nasty knocks (justified or unjustified) that are inevitable when posting on an open and public forum.

2+2 = 4. F=MA. E=MC^2. The Cubs may win the World Series this year. These things happen.

The Cubs will never will win the world series, and there is nobody alive today who can verify they ever did. Therefore, suck it.

Candy Crush is more useful than grammaring and trolling every masque post.

that makes a HUUUUUUUUGE assumption that self driving cars would be allowed to race in the Daytona 500....

i'm not saying they wouldn't, but i could easily see nascar fans being all up in arms, and maybe firing their arms up in the air as well, about this issue. i highly doubt they'd be ok with some doogie howser look-a-alike following the performance of his/her self-driving car from some mobile tracking station inside the pit crew area.

in the end, i think if you wagered on the over/under with anybody it would likely end in a push with the AI car never being allowed to race.
