They are a counterpoint. Other experiments have shown that simply stating a hypothesis or claim leads to confirmation bias.

Ravens (genus Corvus) are the most confident birds. Parrots (genus Psittacella ) are the most overconfident. Plumage you know, tells a great deal. In birds and in humans.
