I was gonna go with "yeah, but haven't you seen Tommy Boy"?

The kid can apparently count and gets some math. Nothing worth panicking about, since memorizing math facts isn't the important thing in "getting math."

start with the basics. teach him addition and subtraction. (or, if he's not at that level, counting). once he has that fully mastered, teach him multiplication and division. start easy and work your way up.
