well, there are two definitions of a theist.

1. the belief in one God as the creator and ruler of the universe, without rejection of revelation (distinguished from deism).
2. belief in the existence of a god or gods (opposed to atheism).

You are definitely a theist meaning one who believes in the existence of a god.

Though you're free to make up your own definitions for words, I suggest if you do you keep to yourself. Since, If you're using your own definition of words then you're not going to understand anybody and nobody will understand you.
