Yeah I read it. None of that stuff with the copper isotopes/iron matters because they are testing for what they think the result has to be from within what they know. Since they don't really know what the catalyst is yet it doesn't make sense for them to even do that test because it's not conclusive. The stronger test is net output of energy because once the energy generated eliminates all possible chemical causes you can be almost certain that there are only two sources of the energy. Outside sources. Or nuclear sources. Here are the reasons I think that this points to being legitimate.
1. The guy already invented a successful process for turning garbage into fuel.
2. He's already made money by selling a company so it's unlikely that he has the proper incentive for him to try to scam people.
3. No scientist so far has disputed the net output of energy claim.(scientists that actually tested the machine) Actually they have added to their surety and not become more skeptical.
4. The guy is going through an awful lot of trouble to patent something and retain ownership in his idea. If he were trying to get money he wouldn't go through that much trouble.
5. He invited highly skeptical people to test his invention with strong scientific backgrounds.
6. The people interviewed have seen nothing that rules out the claims and all want to know more. They seem to think it's the real deal.
7. Similar bursts of energy in similar processes have been reported by other scientists in unrelated experiments. The difference of course is that they weren't repeatable or sustainable for them.
The most important thing I think is that he has previously invented something that was verified to work. So I find it difficult to believe that he would waste a bunch of his own money getting patents and building what appear to be complicated devices to get investor funds. If he wanted to be a scammer there would be plenty of less high profile ways to go about it and not be under the scrutiny he is currently under. He's also smart enough to know that he's going to get caught if he's lying. His name would be tarnished forever and he might even go to prison if he had done it on purpose. Once again, he already has money!
Now of course it's possible that this thing doesn't actually work. I just think that with the tests that have been done already it's an either or situation. It either has to be fraud or it has to be true because one of the scientists eliminated chemical causes entirely as the reason for the energy output.
