Brain health/fitness
Hi everybody!
I was thinking a lot about hum intelligence lately... but also stuff like increasing attention, solving quicker some (math) problems stuff like that. Anybody knows any documentations about the improving of your brain fitness or books or whatever? Does something like lumosity really works? I would like to read some stuff about it but dont know where to start.
Any good ideas or maybe some expoerts here on this?
Thank you everybody!

Re: Brain health/fitness
I personally don't know whether or not you can permanently improve your brain health. But their are lots of ways to at least look like you are more capable.
Moonwalking with Albert Einstein, comes to mind. Book about memorizing stuff.
Critical review: http://www.themillions.com/2011/03/t...-einstein.html
If improving your memory equals brain fitness is not for me to decide.

Quick pop read about the topic:

Cliffs:
What works for sure and very well is first of all exercising regularly and sleeping well.

Learn to do new things. Doesn't matter what. Physics, calculus, guitar, creative writing, tennis, etc.
Read.
Write.
Exercise.
Eat decently.
Don't huff.

Don't huff. [You need to huff some - the world deserves it and needs it, and it helps clean out the pores and loosens the cobwebs from the mind]

Other than that misunderstanding, I highly approve of the improvements you made to my post.

Re: Brain health/fitness
so basically we could put this into 1.eating well. 2. exercising well and 3. have a very big list of interested not only in theory but also at practicing every single thing beeing it just hand balancing or playing basketball or just learning sick tricks with your pen in your hands like these spins in some youtube videos. Also making moves with a butterfly knife or even chipsshufflemoves... just keep the brain adapting?!

Re: Brain health/fitness
For most people, sleeping more is by far the most important thing they could do to improve learning/brain function.

Solid general life advice but is there really evidence all of these are good for brain health/fitness?
