Hi, I found through google there are 1,326 hand combinations in texas hold em'. What equation or set of math equations are used to arrive at this number?

It's 1326 starting hand combinations. That is, 2 card combinations.

52 choose 2

The formula is:

n = 52, k = 2

(or sklansky's way :P)
