What?? HP3 had three wolf factions, did it not? The Death Eaters were one, and there were two others, and not all of them had communication or knew who the others were. I remember this distinctly.

wrt 425 claim, I've never seen a villager have that role, but I've seen some sort of mechanic like that given to the wolves in almost every ITA game.

If you are a villager, you will never use role.
