of course they can
Reasonably confident he will play. Also pretty confident we crush em either way.

Maybe last week's 14-5 on totals actually was something more than just rungood (obviously largely rungood, but maybe not entirely?)

Of the 19 games where my model identified a "play" against opening lines this morning, 14 of those have moved in my favor and only 3 have moved against (currently borrowing the "actual road score" column to track these). 3-1 on having the two-unit plays move in my favor (and all four of my two unit ATS "bets" have also moved in my favor). I'm using "unit-points" of movement as my measure, so if a one-unit play moves one point in my favor, that's +1, and if a two-unit play moves two points against me, that's -4. At current lines, I am "up" 19.5 "unit-points" across the 19 "bets".

Gogo YPP!

I have no faith in a model that projects that Michigan would score 31 points, even against Indiana's ebolatstic defense.

Then again Indiana is presumably starting their 19th string QB...

I say go TCU and Miss St. An Ole Miss victory would also get the rankings jumbled a bit.

I have to guess that Gurley isn't playing this week. He's gonna get Kolton'd it looks like.

Related crazy QB stat:

Justin Thomas (GT)
1,106 yards, 11 TDs, 3 INTs

Huston Mason (UGA)
1,022 yards, 10 TDs, 3 INTs

I'm so pumped to be playing Purdue especially after that great Rutgers game. And in a couple of weeks, Minnesota comes to town, so get ready for a showdown!

just a FYI, Utah St. is down to their 4th string QB. The Utah St. offense (their 3rd and 4th string QBs both played) did not look all that great against a complete garbage UNLV defense last Saturday. Anyways, even factoring in the 4th string QB, the Utah St. -3 line looks suspiciously low. tread carefully.

schu, kidding aside how do Nebrask fans like it in the b1g? Are you happy to be cupcaking your way to a possible conference championship game with double digit wins, or do you wish you were back in the meat grinder with the XII? I assume you'd rather be playing K State or Oklahoma this week.

It is such a shame that you guys lost those keen division rivalries with Kansas and Iowa State.

TAMU -32.5 vs ULaMonroe; seems like it's been a long time since A&M played, but maybe I'm just thinking of defense. Total of 58.5 seems weird.

Could be worse, they could have filler matchups no one would care about against tiny Baylor and TCU.

They either hate it (like me) or come up with super-creative ways to justify how it somehow doesn't suck, usually by methods involving how ESPN is in bed with the SEC. I think a lot of the Yay-B1G crowd is starting to come around.

This move will be Tom Osborne's greatest mistake.

Ages ago Nebraska tried to get in and were not allowed. At least ND learned from our rejection.

You have Pitt as 10.6 point favorites and the line is Pitt -4 (-112, Duke +100). Why not give me some small action on my Duke +4? I'm up for $10-$50 if venmo works.

Just disband the NCAA. It's not needed. Let the conferences police themselves.

It really doesn't matter. Chubb's as dangerous as Gurley and you're not going to beat Auburn running the ball 50 times anyway so they'll be plenty rested in that game.

A&M and bama match up way better against Auburn than Ole Miss and UGA. Think South "we throw the ball a million times" Carolina and LS "we win with defense and pounding the rock" U.

Honestly, the only thing to take away from this entire debacle is that your school should NEVER, EVER, EVER cooperate with the NCAA in any way. UGA continually does everything right and goes 100% by the book and lays down to be the NCAA's whipping boy, and they get zero breaks. Kolton Houston? You can sit out 4 years while we laugh at you. AJ Green gets 4 games for selling a piece of memorabilia from a bowl game at fair market value that he owned. Gurley gets 4 games because **** him, that's why. I promise you if there was any evidence that Gurley took more than 400 bucks, UGA would have voluntarily submitted it. That's what they do (and they are immediately appealing this decision, which they never do). UGA is the poster boy now for "cooperate and get ****ed anyways".

Much better to take the route most schools do - stonewall and deny everything and don't cooperate at all. the NCAA isn't going to cut you a break because you played nice. ****'em.

The real crime is we don't get to watch what had the potential to be one of the all-time great RB seasons.

I feel like it's a mistake to say it doesn't matter. Gurley is a better RB than Chubb. Chubb is great but he's not Gurley. And our RB situation is dangerously thin. After Chubb we have Brendan Douglas, the 5th string guy, and basically nobody else. Sony Michel and Keith Marshall are both great backs who are hurt. If Chubb got hurt, UGA would be ****ed. The reason he's had 35 touches per game (and the corresponding big numbers) the last two games is because there's nobody else left.

Jesus I'm so angry.
