Honestly, the only thing to take away from this entire debacle is that your school should NEVER, EVER, EVER cooperate with the NCAA in any way. UGA continually does everything right and goes 100% by the book and lays down to be the NCAA's whipping boy, and they get zero breaks. Kolton Houston? You can sit out 4 years while we laugh at you. AJ Green gets 4 games for selling a piece of memorabilia from a bowl game at fair market value that he owned. Gurley gets 4 games because **** him, that's why. I promise you if there was any evidence that Gurley took more than 400 bucks, UGA would have voluntarily submitted it. That's what they do (and they are immediately appealing this decision, which they never do). UGA is the poster boy now for "cooperate and get ****ed anyways".
Much better to take the route most schools do - stonewall and deny everything and don't cooperate at all. the NCAA isn't going to cut you a break because you played nice. ****'em.
