That is not new information. It doesn't change the fact that for FIFA economically the US is one of the top 3 countries they should choose to a host a WC.

If they were to a World Cup totally clean and with complete transparency then USA#1 is the obvious no brainer choice to make as much $$$ as humanly possible with zero harm to the country itself. But lol at FIFA being transparent or clean so it's a moot point really

17s playing vs Cuba for qualification to the WC right now, game streamed here:

This group has done quite well, so making the WC would be nice for their development. Most of the hype in this group around Carleton, Sargent, and Ayo, although obviously they're all really young still.

Cuba is not good at all, but our group has done very well at other tournaments too.

Won the Nike friendlies convincingly vs. Portugal, Brazil, Turkey for example.

Still though, there's not much carryover generally from U17 NT's into the full team. Some exciting talents for the future, but if one or two of the boys playing tomorrow end up being fixtures for the full team someday that would be great, and above expectation.

dangit just looked at the schedule for the U20 world cup and can't make any group stage games. First two are during the week when I work and the last one is three hours away on a sunday night, which i suppose is feasible but meh. Hopefully we make the group stages and have a game in seoul.

We need a draw against saudi arabia tonight to guarantee advancement in the u20 world cup. Sargent had an absolute SICK turn and goal to beat Senegal in our 2nd game. Match is at 5am EST so i know it will be hard for yall to watch but I'll be watching!
