Why worry if the Germans are already on board with his elite qualities

The one thing Pulisic definitely has that no other USMNT has ever had is the ability to play with a defender right on his ass as if there was nobody there. You get used to seeing that watching the best players every week and it was such a ****ing bit of refreshment to see someone on our side that can do it.

I hate to crown an 18 year old kid and the pundits are right that most never reach their potential but Pulisic may already be 95% of what best Pulisic will be. The only real risk with him at this point is injury.

glad to see my favorite player of all time still has it. DEUCE.

Pulisic GOAT though

The craziest part of yesterday is how bad some of Pulisic's non-goal/assist decisions were, particularly early in the game. He's 18, that's going to happen, but when he cleans those up....Jesus.

Pulisic will be the greatest American national soccer player of all time.

What's crazy is Pulisic has as good a chance as anyone to be among the best in the world in 5-10 years

Can you imagine an American (non keeper) starting for Real Madrid or Barca?

He's got some David Silva in his game which is just ridiculous to say about a Yank but there you have it.

15 traditionally seems to be the magic number to qualify. With that said, 12 from 7 should not be all that difficult. That likely needs to include 5 points on the road, though, and a win in Panama all but assures qualification iyam. Big game this week.

Less anyone thinks this should be easy, Panama has played us well the last few years and, oh yeah, we pretty needlessly knocked them out of WC 2014 when just kicking the ball around would've eliminated Mexico and had them in the playoff. So yeah, likely to be some tension in this one.

Good W for the usmnt tbh y'all needed that.

It's not hard to fathom puli at a Real Madrid/Barca/M City/etc because these teams want a piece of the USA pie so badly... I expect his sale to be largest transfer in North American history.

The USA aspect of it is definitely interesting. I read that Dortmund wants to keep him but really curious to see what teams throw at him

With Brooks out for Panama our injury status is reaching extreme levels. Really gonna be stretching thin for this game. Will thrilled with a draw.

Agreed. No doubt that being the GOAT from USA#1 is a huge positive in terms of increasing transfer money.

Whats crazy about Pulisic is that it's not all gimmick. Those super-elite teams would want him simply because he is that good. The USA viewership stuff is just gravy. I think he is smart to stick at BVB until his contract is up, I think they have him locked until 2020. But if the offers come in too high, we know that BVB isn't afraid to part with guys

If his development remains on track he will very likely be sold prior to 2020. That's how Dortmund stays competitive.

Think the assumption that he's on track for one of the big two La Liga teams is slightly premature, but if he continues to improve then it's hard to imagine Dortmund not cashing in.

when you are in the top 5 of lists like the goal.com one, any team will make room for you to be on their roster. you might not get to play a ton, which is why I think he's best served to stay at BVB another few years, but they will want you. He'll probably end up at bayern anyway.

Member when someone compared good MB90 to Pirlo and was mercilessly mocked for years? Yeah, I just compared a USMNT player to David Silva and nobody said a ****ing word for days. That's how good Pulisic is.
