It's crazy town that an 18 year old American is
  • Playing in the champions league final 16 knockout round
  • Starting in the CL knockout round
  • Scoring and assisting in the knockout round
  • Either MOTM or second-MOTM in that game

is this real life?

Beasley scored for PSV in the round-of-16 I know.

He was 22 at the time.

Jones scored for Schalke in the "hell of Istanbul" in R16 four years ago, quite an important goal too although eventually we obv blew it

The winning goal of the tie at that. He's been excellent all season. More surprising than his success is the fact that we left him on the bench for a Copa America semi-final against Messi's Argentina in favor of Chris Wondolowski

I'm pretty ready to say that pulisic is the GOAT usa player. I mean I get other people not being ready to say that, but i'm all in

then again, my #2 is JoB, so it's not like longevity is highly valued in my criteria

Bobby Mother****ing Wood!

Had he been out of the Hamburg side for a bit? May have just got the winner v. Gladbach. He's looked great in the 2nd half.

pretty sure wood has been the man all season for hamburg - they do not have many other choices

Looks like it's 14 appearances in 24 league games. I agree though it feel like it should be more and he's done very well in the games he has played in. Might just keep them up. By far our best option up top for USMNT too

He's been injured I'm pretty sure

Edit. No he hasn't. 19 apps from 24 league games, missed three by way of suspension

Our defense is not going to be good.

Can we have Klinsman back?

I can't believe I'm going to watch Beasley play another game. Although I think he's unlikely to be worse than the other options. It's crazy he's still around.

Also, Geoff Cameron should absolutely be playing midfield, it's a real shame we need him to play at the back.

not a lock that beasley plays, could be villafana and even though bruce has said he wants FJ in midfield, doesn't mean he won't still play him on the back line on occasion

You MLS lovers are going to get your wish with Arena in charge. And the people who said Bobby Wood isn't good or whatever will realize just how important he is to our side (if you didn't already against Argentina)
