Young icelandic kid with a dual citizenship with the USA (Aron Jóhannsson) just officially gave out a statement that he will be making himself eligible for the US team rather than the icelandic

don't really know that much about him, he's a striker and he's in pretty high regard over here he has been called up for iceland on multiple occasions despite us having a couple of really talented strikers

There is certainly room for him in the pool. Herc, EJ and Wondo ain't getting any younger.

Couldn't watch the game, i was too busy donking it up in event #1 at the legends coming in a mulerrific 8th of 577.

When I asked the floorman if he'd kindly put the game on one of the dozen + TV's in the tournament room of the bike I got "LOL GTFO'd" by about 7-8 guys at my table and surrounding tables who overheard my request, angrily letting me know "Los Doyers are on dude f that" (Dodgers)

LA for you.

Congrats

Just on pedigree alone I'd say Johannsson should at least be even with them on the depth chart once called into camp.

I don't think he's actually a strength on defense against real teams though. So slow, leaves gaps while running around, a deficient tactical fouler. Would much rather see Geoff or even any other CM to tighten things up.

Really blows. Never felt more sick for an athlete than when he was shown with his head in his hands and clearly balling on the bench. He knew. Sucks for him, for the US and for Bolton. By the time he's recovered I believe he will be out of contract, so I'd guess that his most likely move to attempt to revive his career will be back in Houston.

GL Stu.

would have not guessed Alabama as the birthplace for an Icelandic kid... I don't know much about him, but he seems talented...

Trying to think of soccer players on their second ACL who've made the comeback and I'm coming up empty. Anyone who is a better historian know better?

I know jermaine jones has a history of knee injuries. He's missed a few full seasons. I know one was a bone injury but I don't remember what his earlier one was.
