who is hte right back for the US? poor defense there IMO. he has to cover the run on the outside that is his main job and let a midfielder and center back cover if the attacker brings it inside there. he didn't even slide to put pressure on the cross...

also what is the consensus on donovan now? i have always believed he is overrated

He had a decent season for Sporting Lisbon this year, I think this showing is pretty disappointing even for 2012 Onyewu,

Clearly I'm too loose I guess. I thought that was a brilliant challenge got ball twice before contacting the player.. Commentators clearly thought differently.. Judge the play on the actual play not how it could have been..
