Ball bobbling up on the pitch a little bit, which isn't helping the United States' ability to possess against the high press. US still trying to figure out a successful plan of attack from the back in general. Two pretty bad giveaways in the middle third with numbers in front of the ball in the buildup to the pen.

bleh, not like conceding two goals to brazil is that horrible on the face of it but it's pretty painful to give up a soft pk and header directly off a corner.

MB90 looks really improved. I mean, he's always been a top 5 player but this year in Serie A has really benefited him wrt composure on and off the ball. He's gonna be just a notch below world class imo.

honestly we've been better offensively still. just... still really bad at the back against teams that press us. not gonna happen in the qualifiers obv but in next WC... that's gonna be our biggest issue. no surprise.
