Thinking there's going to be some goals tonight. Something like Brazil 3 US 2. Maybe if we defend better than I think we can we win 3-1. Definitely depends what kind of lineup Jurgen decides to go with, but I don't anticipate that we'll be seeing a whole lot of bunkering of any type. Not to mention we're short a player or two I think we'd use if we were looking to do that.

2-0 Brazil at the half. They go up 3-0. We grab 1 before the end. Sounds about right. I was able to get some Brazil for the win at -150. It's yummy in my tummy.

After watching you destroy us I'm interested how you do tonight, should be a good game if you attack like you did against us...although I'm gonna guess their left back will be a tad better than Mulgrew was! Good luck

Happy with the lineup.

Interested to see Johnson against better opponents.

How will Gooch look? We really need him to get back to his old self. Well, maybe don't need him to be back, but it would sure help during qualification.

I was hoping that the midfield 5 stayed the same so that's good. That's the part I'm most looking forward to watching.

I hate to be a hater...but I just can't get all that excited about Gomez. I mean, he's a likeable guy, I wish him all the best, and I can even grant that he could come in handy during qualification. I'm just not excited by him. His ceiling is so low compared to the other guys, and he has no possible shot at Brazil 2014, which is why I'm not a huge fan.

It's not like we're spoiled for choice though, so it is what it is.

I hope he scores tonight to shut me up though!

Assuming Gooch is healthy(again), I expect him to be, well, better than expected by many. And I firmly believe you're underrating Herc. No he's not the future, but he's going to be a bigger impact in the games he is in than most people realize.

Wondo is solid against lesser CBs when he has good service. Dude can certainly finish. Problem is he just gets overmatched by good central defenders. He can't match up physically and ends up lost in most of the national team games he plays. I think he can be super valuable against the bottom teams in CONCACAF qualifying but beyond that he's really just not a viable option.

ummmm if Edu isn't viable in front of the back 4 why is he on the pitch? We must be looking to play pretty defensive...

Could be. I think I rate him pretty accurately, the reason I'm down on him is in Brazil he's going to be what? 32-33?

Whereas Jozy will be right in his prime, Agudelo and Boyd will be 21 and 23 or something if I recall correctly, I just think they're the guys we should be focusing on (and I'm not saying Jurgen's not focusing on them, obv it's a friendly, it is what it is).

I agree that he could do well in qualifying and still be valuable this cycle though.
