I did sort of lose track of Yedlin as I don't really ever watch the Championship but that's good to hear.

He was a pretty big part of the last World Cup team but looks to have lost a lot in his last couple appearances. It seems like Kellyn Acosta, 21 year old from FC Dallas, was filling his spot in the last World Cup qualifiers but he has had some consistency issues in the Gold Cup.
Good call, I didn't leave JJ out on purpose, I just forgot about him. I do think he is past it though, tbh, and I'm a huge fan overall. Don't think he has a Russia role. Acosta could well be a guy that plays DCMish type roles moving forward, I wonder if he will be ready in time for this cycle. There's been a lot of hype around him for awhile but doesn't look to be the finished product at the Int'l level yet.
Cameron always an option in there too of course, although he isn't getting any younger either.
Anyway, Gold Cup knockout rounds coming... should be fun to see the A-/B+ teams in some more games that really matter.
