Haven't seen PSG goals, but ozil's goal was sheer class. In fact my favourite goal from an arsenal player in quite a while.

Wenger thought at the time Ozil took too long on the ball before scoring? That's how his team has played for the past decade!

In the last couple of years we have been more effective though. Just occurred to me that I we don't score so many classy, flashy goals anymore. Last goal I can remember that was as great as Özil's was maybe Giroud's volley some time ago.

both goals are fantastic, but what the hell was the arsenal defence doing. That's definitely three times Mustafi has failed to pick up a player right in front of goal on attacks down Arsenal's left that have directly led to goals, and there must be more. He is too slow to read the movement and move himself.

Kind of harsh to single out Mustafi when everyone was taking a day off defensively. Our FBs looked the worst, to be fair to them as well tho, they did not get much cover especially in the first half. I guess it is easy to fall into the complacency trap when you batter a team 6-0 at home.

Also regarding the Özil goal...saying he made it look cute is like such a clueless statement that i have to assume it is a hard troll..
The run,taking the ball down like that and just calmly lifting the keeper and waiting for 2 defenders to slide in and just passing it into the goal is brilliant. Also it wasnt 3-0 or something where the pressure is off. It was a must win game in the 88th minute..

Yeah I kinda agree with FH here even if i know that kind of opinion is a bit harsh and will make some people butthurt.

Not to diminish what Ozil but it also depends on what your criterias are. To me the logical point of scoring a sick goal is that you have a very low chance of scoring that goal given the position you were in. One on one vs a keeper who's in no mans lands outside of his box isn't exactly what I'd consider a low probability goal. Could just shoot or go round him and have time to kick the ball in an empty net.

Actually I think if Messi had scored that goal it'd not be talked as much (on 2p2 anyway)

Excellent comeback from city. Thought barca were in control and likely to score again until around 30 mins and then city clicked.

Not doing another away trip if I've to do the planning/bookings again.

Spent half a day in taxis/trains/queues, could have flown straight into Dusseldorf for an extra €2 each.
