Ronaldo has to be the best goal scorer ever right? He just scores goal for fun. Older guys speak about Muller just being a goal scoring machine and just a beasting finisher. Modern day game puts Ronaldo ahead?

519 goals in 713 games. Unreal.

Muller had 653 in 707 fwiw

Given his early career didn't have him as a striker at all I think definitely. He only became a more central player around '07. Even then he played as part of a front 3 and not always the most central. Look at the stats from just that period. He isn't really a true number 9, certainly didn't start as one. But he has become the best number 9 of all time anyway imo. After being one of the world's best as a totally different type of player (look at highlights from United days compared to how he plays now).

How many players have knock out champions league hat tricks on their CV? Very few. Quarters or Semi finals vs fellow giant clubs? Incredibly short list, just to do it once. Ronaldo has done it time and again. He has just a metric ton of goals in these important games.

Tonight would be the best individual match of most world class strikers careers. For Ronaldo, it's a Tuesday.

My name is RITS. At some point in time I was a human being on planet Earth. I have witnessed Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro play the sport called football. For that, I was privileged and grateful.

Frankly, as a True Hardcore Real Madrid FanTM for the past 30 years, I am getting bored of my team winning every game. I honestly wish they would lose once in while just to mix things up a bit. yawn.

If Ronaldo had Messi's supporting cast, he'd have at least 3x Messi's output. That's a fact.

I'm sure Ronaldo's primadonna act would go great with Luis Suarez.

Messi is a better player and I don't even think it's particularly close either. In terms of being an out and out goal scorer Ronaldo is better. It's his selfishness, his hunger to just want to score and finishing is sublime. You look at his numbers for Real, it's incredible. He's scored 399 in 389 games.

Was going to say something along the lines of raz here:-

They are ****ing up the city centre for weeks. They are building a bridge from the castle to the stadium. So the VIPs don't have to mix with the plebs. Also they are closing down all of Westgate street the night of so **** knows how to get into the pubs down there. Basically it can **** right off.

And tonight is yet another representation of why we need to get rid of Bale this summer, while we can easily get 100m for him. Easiest sell of all time, you can put whomever you want either in the MF or RW and it's not like we play the same, we play way better. It just wasn't meant to be, the team, the league, his fault, injuries, whatever. He just doesn't fit, not for that fee and salary and not with these youngsters available.

No one would pay that amount. You might get 50-60 from an English club. We'll take James off you though.

Lol. And James is not going to live in Manchester, worst case scenario he goes to Chelsea, but even then, he'd much rather take his chances at RM. Look at Di Maria, he knew he fvcked up the second he landed at the airport.

this Baleless version of Real seems to be good enough to ship another CL, but you need him healthy and fit to be the GOAT counter attacking team that Mourinho and Ancelotti created. Or someone of his caliber, which there aren't many
