Yeah, Tiger's game is based on swinging with a ton of torque and it's already caused significant injury problems in the past. That's just not a swing that holds up well at 45. Mickelson has arguably the best short game in the history of the tour, and was held back mainly by mental problems/course management issues throughout his peak so it makes sense he'd peak late.

I'm not talking about his game, I'm talking about his body. The same body that has had multiple surgeries starting in his teens. The same body that has failed him numerous times in the last few years causing him to miss events he always plays in. The same left knee with next to nothing left in it that he had to totally overhaul his swing for.

And all I'm doing is repeating the same stuff from upthread, certain golf swings just tear the body to shreds and his has always been one of them.

He's completely changed his swing. Tiger's best quality is that he's adaptable. He may have to adapt again as he ages but saying its a forgone conclusion his body breaks down and eventually forces him out of golf completely is a little lol.

Look at what Freddy did, almost shipped two green jackets, with no back or practice ability.
