All Tiger cares about are the Majors which he can't win anymore

I can remember when you said he wouldn't win again on tour at all. You've quieted down on that for some reason though.

Mickelson won two majors in the past five years and he's five years older than Tiger. So I still think 18 majors is possible for Tiger. 82 total Tour wins is obviously a lock for him.

I agree that Tiger will get to 19, but massive LOLs at him being the best player on tour at 47. He's already in decline, and that starts hitting way harder once you reach 40. Nicklaus only won 1 major after turning 41. Vijay's was the oldest golfer to be ranked #1 at 40. It's just not possible to be that elite at that age.

Realistically, Rory should still supplant him within 5 years. He's only 24 now; he's got plenty of room to grow and mature and just generally become a better golfer.

Elite plus modern tech/med/etc mean the decline curve is likely to be different for TW.

The thing about Tiger being in decline is that his peak was so much higher than everyone else's that a declining Tiger is still better than most PGA players. I think everyone will agree that he's not at his peak. But his 90% of peak (or whatever number you want to put on it) has won 5 tourneys this year, and has a pretty big lead over #2 in the world golf rankings.

Oh I did if I had to pick between Jack and him I would select Tiger. This last year has been a clincher for me.

What is leading you to believe he's already in decline? His game looks as good as it ever has sans 2000.

Tiger is in better shape than any player who has gone through this aging process so not sure looking at what fat Jack did is relevant.

other than rory, bradley or mickelson, everyone is in their prime in the early 30s. mickelson is 6 years older than tiger and is still is number 2 and was never really even close to prime tiger. So at 43, tiger should still be the best player on tour. I was told tiger's game doesn't age well but its freaking golf and tiger is a good athlete. But it's really not a stretch at all, tiger could still be the best player in golf at 47.

Tiger hasn't been the best player in golf in years, why would he be at 47?
