Cousin Sal is such a fish at the lone guessing game. He gives away so much free info to assist Bill.

Have to say tho, that Cousin Sal's sportsguy VM this week was rather funny.

Did Simmons really say Colt McCoy isn't a starting QB? Sigh, how can you possibly blame the QB on that team?

Another Al Michaels HOF appearance on the BS Report. And Baba Booey to you all!

I can't decide if Al Michaels is a great guy or a total *******, but I don't really care. He's as good as anyone at calling a game and he's a fantastic interview. I could listen to several hours of that...most interesting podcast I've listened to in a while.

Ha, what makes you say that? I've never really considered the possibility that he isn't a good guy. Not that I know that he is, but nothing he's ever said has indicated he's not, imo.

He strikes me as a very smart guy who doesn't have much patience with dummies.

You know, like you and me and all the other 2+2'ers.

I read a book about the history of MNF that portrayed AM as a primadonna.

And Simmons infuriated me when he mispronounced Fred Cusick's name when talking about his "favorite" childhood local announcer.

yeah, you can tell he really thinks this is a brilliant idea, even though nobody would watch it (past the first year, I guess), and casual NBA fans would just be like, "oh god, the real playoffs don't start for two weeks!?" its a fun thing to talk about but apparently its also so brilliant that it could end the lockout

that said, most of his posting on the lockout has been pretty good

Came to post about how horrible and hacky that Chris Jones article is. I have no proof, but I suspect that was the premise for the first sports article in the history of the internet.

This, it was really bad, even if it was done ironically, before a cranky old sports writer could do it literally, it was still really awful.
