I know I'm going to get lolled at ITT, but sometimes on my 15 minute drive to work I throw on Mike & Mike. Usually this coincides with the Gruden segment. Jon Gruden has to be the worst sports radio guest of all time.

He absolutely never takes a side on anything, never offers an opinion on anything. When asked about whether or not Tony Romo should play when he comes back from injury, his response was basically

"Man... I don't know man, I tell you what that's a tough call right there. On one hand, Dak Prescott is playing well. Hasn't thrown an interception yet. On the other hand, Tony Romo is your franchise player, you're paying him $20 Million a year... I tell you, it's a tough call. I'm glad I'm not in Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett's position". And they just leave it there and ask him another question.

I'm not sure I would even hire Chris Broussard if I could pay him minimum wage plus 4 free tickets to the 76ers.

I want it to be that Broussard is the one that reported it himself and he's wrong about it. Would just be the best icing on the cake for a hack insider.

I listened to Lombardi today for the lulz, but skipped most of house. I don't get the purpose of doing half-assed NBA lines, when you're going to do full pods for those later, and you yell at House anytime he tries to expand on his answer. Like wtf.

I used to listen to Mike and Mike on the way to work, too. It's so bad that it is calming and soothing.

Wait, they did the half assed NBA lines last week. They did it again yesterday?

Yea for western conference.

I don't get the Lombardi hate. He's a bit of a cornball but he's such a belichick fanboy I assume he's regurgitating billisms. I like the 45/60 minute team description. Kinda find it a perfect way to describe almost good teams vs good teams

LeBatard leaked that M&M are breaking up in some capacity.

Is First Take good now? I watch all the segments I stumble upon on ESPN.com and it seems infinitely better - I like Max tho.

The sad thing is I really think Greenberg used to have a lot of potential to become the next Steve Levy or Chris Fowler - both guys who I REALLY like - but Golic's quisling nature has rubbed some serious stink on him. Golic is the perfect casualfan talking head and I get it. I don't like it. But I get it. Greenberg had potential to be a lot more and now I'm sad that it looks like he won't get there.

That's an interesting take. I think I used to like Greenberg as well, but that show is so god awful I have no clue how it's still on the air.

He's so much more logical and analytical than just about anyone else on an overall sports level.

Max starts @ 2:10

He actually makes Stephen A so much more tolerable as a reasonable counter instead of him and Skip one-upping each other. Max doesn't have hot takes, he has his actual opinions. Always been a fan.

A bit more obscure but two guys with decent twitter followings, @coleymick and @tylerIam, just launched an nba podcast. For a first episode I thought it was really entertaining. Lots of laughs and decent analysis as well.
