Chris Ryan is too ugly to be on tv. After the thrones was always going to fail.

I've pretty much given up on ESPN radio - Lebatard is OK, I guess, but the shtick gets old after about 30 minutes. I like Russillo well enough, but they seem to be doing a rotating bunch of cohosts with each one worse than the last. Boumoni Jones has kind of grown on me, but I'm not usually listening at that time. Way too much Labron Labron Labron over and over and over.

I think I'm getting old.

I can't believe it took Bill's dad to finally call him out on his Celtics homerism. His dad trashing ainge's draft picks was the best 5 minutes of his podcast in over a year.

Bill had a two week run of gushing over fultz. And now that the trade happens he is talking about fultz's knee issues and how the best player will be anywhere from 1-10. He isn't even trying to be reasonable.

Malcolm Gladwell not understanding the most basic and important part of the NBA cap and not understanding taxes is something else

Watching Around the Horn at a pub, they have the closed captioning on and so far they've talked about Andre Rison's 8-game on base streak being broken, also about what a shame it is that here we are in the 24th Century and a guy still can't come out as gay while playing in the NFL. I feel bad for deaf people

The other day Greenberg asked Golic how many all star selections there were from Ainge's 38 (iirc) Celtics draft picks.

Golic guessed 20. LMAO

Greenie then corrected him and said there have been 0 all star selections.

Golic should have been fired on the spot.

He was right about yogurt.

Simba was epicly wrong too, those guys are just peas in a pod. At the beginning they are observing how NBA playoffs are getting less compelling, they talk about shortening the season, and then later when they're talking about the salary cap stuff Simba is like "who cares, it's not like the value of a NBA franchise will ever DECREASE so what's the problem"

I don't know why he treats Gladwell like a sports guest. He's interesting enough when he's talking about his own stuff that's he's put at least some time and research into, like the golf course deal. On sports he's just ultimate too smart casual fan. It's like listening to Sklansky talk about the NBA. Just talk to him like Ice Cube or whatever and it's be good. I guess thatd be stepping on Gladwell's own pod though.

I was super curious what the **** they used for a function, so I plugged it into a spreadsheet and I'm pretty sure it's a three year moving average. Such data, much science, wow! (which I see it now says at the bottom, lol me)

Also, I think it should be noted that this time period added two extra teams to the league in 1993, and since I plugged the numbers into a spreadsheet already, the trend line is negative from 1993 through 2017 (which should be excluded since it's a partial season and I would bet that some of those teams will regress to the mean and come back to within a run by season's end)
