They should just spin off a new network, ESPNLavar.
Meh. I feel like Lonzo has handled his dad and teammates very well.

He played college basketball at Ohio State. I think titus is great he's knowledgable and doesn't have an annoying voice. What's to hate?

Kristine Leahy: discuss

I laughed when Lavar Ball said stay in your lane because I've heard people use that before, so I chuckled. I don't think what he said was sexist, and I don't think what she said was racist even though I disagree with everything she said.

i only know him from this single podcast, but i think he was the most poorly-spoken guest i've ever heard which is saying something. he could very well be knowledgeable but every time he talked he seemed super uncomfortable and awkward. maybe he's just bad at playing off simba's schtick.

FS1/ESPN fawn over Lavar then when he says something that isn't politically correct they have all their minions get all holier than thou.

Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Lavar is some random dad, he doesn't have media training and he just shoots the ****. That is obviously why they put him on air like 10 times a month.

So if you're gonna do that, then maybe don't get all butthurt that he got a little testy from her insinuating his son is scared of him.

They want him to come on and be brash and act a certain way, that is why he is on, but the minute he crosses any line they then act like victims? FS1/ESPN live for these types of reactions from him, who are they kidding?

You're exploiting his absurdity, he's using you for promotion, it's a symbiotic relationship.

with that said, probably time for the family to get a publicist

He should probably avoid situations like that but he needs to keep his Trumpian/Kardashian gameplan going. The minute he starts acting normal, no one will care about him.

I think he's great. He certainly has taken the attention off of his son. If he was a coach everybody would be applauding him.

For everyone ripping on the Ringer (and I get it) where do you go these days to read sports and pop culture related articles?

Good question.

Isn't really another site that combines them all like Grantland did.

Was searching for JJ Watt's box jump from a few years back to compare it to someone else's and stumbled across this article. Very old but one of the dumbest things I've ever read.

Hard to believe that PFTCommenter went from being a guy cracking jokes on Twitter to traveling around the country interviewing big time coaches for Grit Week. I also enjoyed their trailer

I found him pretty funny at first on twitter but I find him somewhat annoying now and fairly sick in general. It's a funny shtick but has gotten old. Making the same grit joke for 2-3 years or whatever loses its luster after a while
