Riverman, your posts in the golf forum suck ass. They're like 95% "_________ sucks". Like, I don't recall you ever making a single helpful or thoughtful post, maybe you did a long time ago.

Whether you know something or not is meaningless if you're unwilling to share it and instead just bitch and moan, which is basically your M.O. If you stopped posting in that forum (maybe you already have) it would not be a loss. People wouldn't be like "wow, what ever happened to Riverman, I miss all those posts where he bitched about everything nonstop, those were great".

And I seriously doubt you have forgotten more about golf than I have known given my background in the sport but I'm not going to get into some ******ed peen waving contest with you about it.

While doing my most recent writeup for the new draft thread(shameless plug to get more people to look at it and comment on stuff!) I turned on my radio and Christmas music was on the lite rock station. Now I know they do it every year, but we are a week early. I was at the mall for halloween costume shopping maybe the thursday before halloween and the department stores were full on Christmas.

Can we appreciate fall before we get to winter please?

one of the three listenable radio stations here changed to Christmas music a week ago. I was just confused at first, since obviously it's not even close to Christmas, but mad at the world when I figured out what was going on.

Funny thing about stations that cut over to holiday music only. For years out here there was one that would start the day after Thanksgiving, but in recent years they apparently decided that just wasn't enough holiday cheer and now start ~mid-November.

What's notable is that nobody seems happy about it*. Holiday music before Thanksgiving is like having dessert before dinner, it doesn't feel right. Although evidently they wouldn't do it if someone didn't think it was good for the bottom line.

* I'm not sure that many people even listen to terrestrial radio anymore but enough do that it comes up in conversation.

yup, there are a few pretty good posters in OOT (offTopic comes to mind instantly), but in general its a pile of pathetic individuals with sub-saharan aids. The concept of OOT is pretty great, so its a shame.

BBV used to be the GOAT forum before it was split into BBV4L and all the fun posters were banned.

MSNL was great (idunno maybe it still is, I quit poker when I graduated and got a real job) and made me a decent bit of money.

OOT could have been so much better had the mods not been ******ed.
