1 birdie, 5 pars, 6 bogeys, 1 double bogey, 2 triple bogeys and 3 holes I didn't even card a score

Every 3rd hole, something would go..... horribly wrong

If a new faces comic at JFL got pinched by this type of thing it would likely be a huge boon for their career.

No one i going after anyone at JFL though, there is too much money involved.

If a complaint gets put in to the Human Rights Tribunal, it'll go that way. JFL won't have much of a say. Keep in mind Ward had performed this bit at JFL, in a show they do called the Nasty Show.

I'm not going to pretend to know anything about Canadian law, I'm sure they could do a lot of things to a lot of people.

JFL is just an industry showcase. They could fairly easily move it to any major city. The moment an English speaking comic gets legal heat over a set at JFL Montreal the comedy industry is taking their multi-million dollar ball and going home.

Québec is so ****ed though - most Canadians think the province is useless and terrible (other than Montreal#1). Their laws are bat**** crazy and it's like bizarro world there

Yeah, I mean a place where you get warned for having "pasta" on your menu instead of whatever the French word is, and the government orders a store to change their Facebook page to French, what do you expect?

It's not quite that simple in that 2 Montrealers started the festival in French and in their home town. All the money and English came after. I'm not saying they wouldn't move if there was an existential crisis. But their pride in it being in Quebec is a big thing. I think they'd look for any other solution first.

Seems like a bad choice to use as lube.

I'm not saying JFL would move, I'm saying all the talent and industry would leave and have a similar event somewhere else.

JFL would probably continue to exist, but it would be as meaningful to stand up comedy as Kodak now is to photography.

I see absolutely no sign of Pokemon Go waning in popularity in POR. At a park yesterday I'd guess 70-75% of everyone there was playing it, walking around like zombies staring at their cell screens. I saw probably 7 or 8 groups of 6-12 people playing it together. There were also some big FATS out there doing it. Not the "I could lose 5 or 10s", but the guys with the 12" wide diagonal flapjack man boobs resting on a barrel gut and the women whose legs touch at every point when they stand with their feet together. They were out there in the sun and heat chasing down Pikachu (the only one I know by name) and dropping an ellbee or two. Good for them.

I've been surprised at how more crowded the parks are this summer, and especially surprised at how a cell phone game can completely change such a simple pleasure as a walk in the park. There's something truly evil about Pokemon Go, I just haven't fully identified it yet. Thanks, Obama.

Had a family reunion yesterday and everyone under 18 was playing. Talked to my cousin-in-law and he said his kid got into it chasing some poon who got him into it. It makes the world go round.

I'm going to make sweeping generalizations here, but the groups of adults playing I saw looked like borderline social misfits who probably don't get out and be active much. If I did manage to stumble across a Pokemon group with attractive women I'd imagine it would go something like:

"Hey, you guys catch Pikachu Pokemon yet?" (With me pretending to play on my flip phone)
"What?! GET OUT OF HERE YOU OLD."
And then I walk home and tend to my houseplants.

What's going to happen once everyone catches them all? That's kinda what eventually doomed the game and the cards. The game will still make billions but Nintendo is pretty good at ****ing things up.

They still have like 1000 more Pokemon from the million other iterations of the game to introduce, so technically that.

Not sure how many billions the game will actually make for Nintendo. Even if the game makes $5 billion a year Nintendo maybe sees 10-15% of that in all likelihood

first edition original. got a few as well. this was a test run. i assume selling them now is best.

other card prices are spotty, got a bunch of other foils. with vaporeon's dominance in GO you'd think it'd be worth more
