I enjoy drafts but totally get the objections to them molesting the front page. I'm t oo drunk to say much other than that.

I think I'll start a NHL Redraft for 2005, 2008, 2004-2007, 2005-2009, and maybe a 2011 Draft. WHO'S WITH ME?!?

A simple rule: How about not more than 1 draft for a league/sport at one time?

Or a sub-forum...

I would love to see all these drafts moved somewhere else.

So an excess of drafts is only an issue when Clark and MEbenhoe aren't involved in them, yes?

When that is the case just ignore the conversation?

Did you not read what I wrote?

Also, I'm not involved in any of the drafts.

I don't see the big deal. This really frustrates people consistently? I'm pretty aware where threads are and if not I know how to use 2p2.

Draft subforum seems excessive

so does having 8 threads relating to drafts on the front page.

it's not particularly frustrating, but i do think there should be some sort of rule about starting drafts.

I'm in favor of a draft subforum; I find them very easy to skip over when you are looking for them.

At what point does Cinch get nuked? He's now doing nothing but going around the forum and celebrating every prediction he ever made.

this is the key.

What the **** happened to the Wait List anyway??? 2 at a time is ideal.

And like F60 mentioned, why are drafts starting for sports that are in midseason???

I like drafts...but seriously...having a Draft Sub-forum is just going to cause chaos! lol. theres going to be 30 drafts all going on at once...and Im sure there will be alot of really dumb ones.

Keeping the drafts limited and controlled is the key to them running smooth and filled with quality, imo.

This doesnt rly seem like a big problem though...Just restrict ppl from poasting new thread in the sub forum until granted permission(like in EDF)....Sub forum makes sense for everyone..its out of the way for ppl who don't care...and it gives the ppl who care one spot to go to instead of searching the front page and whatnot....

The point is that if people want to overrun their draft subforum or fantasy subforum with too many drafts then let them do it. The problem is when they overrun the main page of the forum and negatively impact everyone else.

There should never be a draft for an inseason sport, and there should never be more than two drafts going on at once.

Why can't all of these drafts be pushed into the fantasy forum until/if a better solution comes up? We can't just let them ride it out, there are too many going on at too busy a time of the year.

Pretty much as long as they are off the front page, I dont think it matters what type of drafts are going on.....and as for the # problem..it would never become a big deal because ppl wouldnt sign up/participate in drafts while they are already in 2 others....anymore than 3 drafts would never survive.......
